Our platform, Popular Dent, has the title of "data controller" within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No.6698 ("Law") in terms of personal data related to doctors/patients, and the personal data of patients carried out by Popular Dent clarify in accordance with the aforementioned Law and aimed to enlighten about the processing activities and to obtain their express consent for the situations specified in Article 3 below.
Personal data belonging to doctors/patients are processed within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law to perform the necessary studies by the units and carry out the relevant processes in order to benefit the relevant people from the services offered by Popular Dent, to carry out the necessary studies by the relevant units in order to carry out the activities carried out by Popular Dent and to carry out related processes with this, to plan and execute Popular Dent's activity strategies, ensuring the legal, technical and commercial-occupational safety of Popular Dent and related persons who have a business relationship with Popular Dent, and to customize the services offered by Popular Dent according to the likes, usage habits and needs of the relevant people and to recommend and promote to them including the planning and execution of the necessary activities. For the following cases where the personal data processing conditions specified in articles 5/2 and 6/3 of the Law cannot be met, the express consent of doctors / patients must be obtained by Popular Dent to process personal data.
In this context, personal data; Creating campaigns for doctors / patients, cross-selling, determining the target audience, conducting activities that increase the user experience by following doctor / patient movements, and improving the functioning of the mobile application with Popular Dent's website and customizing it according to patient needs, direct and indirect marketing, conducting personalized marketing and remarketing activities, conducting personal segmentation, targeting, analysis and in-clinic reporting activities, market research, planning and execution of patient satisfaction activities, planning and execution of the sales and marketing processes of Popular Dent services including the planning and execution of customer relationship management processes can be processed in line with the approval of the patient within the scope of planning and execution of the processes of creating and / or increasing commitment to the services offered by Popular Dent and can be shared with the parties specified in this Clarification and Consent Text.
Personal data belonging to doctors / patients, carrying out the necessary work by working units to benefit the relevant people from the treatment / services offered by Popular Dent and carrying out the relevant working processes, carrying out the necessary work and related processes by the relevant units for the realization of the activities carried out by Popular Dent Planning and execution of Popular Dent's business strategies, ensuring the legal, technical and commercial-occupational safety of Popular Dent and related persons in business relationship with Popular Dent, and the services offered by Popular Dent, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, including the planning and execution of the activities necessary for the recommendation and promotion of the relevant persons by customizing according to their needs, clinical authorities, participation may be shared with our business partners, shareholders, legally authorized public institutions and organizations and private institutions.
Personal data are collected from doctors / patients in electronic / real environment. Personal data collected for the above-mentioned legal reasons can be processed and transferred by the purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and this Text on Clarification and Consent.
Natural persons whose personal data are processed have right to request to data controllers within the scope of their rights specified in Article 11 of the Law. This right consists of the followings: (i) to learn whether his/her personal data are processed or not, (ii) to demand for information as to his/her personal data have been processed, (iii) to learn the purpose processing of his/her data and whether these personal data are used in compliance with the purpose, (iv) to know the third parties to whom his personal data are transferred in country or abroad (v) to request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any, (vi) to request the erasure or destruction of his/her personal data, (vii) to request reporting of the operations carried out in compliance with sub-paragraphs (v) and (vi) to third parties to whom his personal data have been transferred, (viii) to object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data solely through automated systems and to claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of his/her personal data.
Requests for the use of these rights can be submitted by the personal data owners by the methods specified in the Policy on Processing and Protection of Personal Data within the scope of Law No. 6698 by Popular Dent at https://populardent.com/. Popular Dent will evaluate these requests and conclude them within 30 days. Popular Dent reserves the right to charge a fee based on the fee schedule (if any) determined by the Personal Data Protection Board regarding the requests.
